The Mentoring Program matches youth in at-risk or acutely high-risk situations with thoughtful and accomplished mentors who provide individualized guidance and support. Our mentors offer social, emotional, and academic assistance to underserved Chicagoans ages 13-18. Program participants take part in productive activities that support violence prevention, college and career readiness, mental health, and physical health. They attend one-on-one and group mentoring sessions addressing personal and community concerns. In addition, the youth enjoy safe and fun game nights, listen to informative and motivational guest speakers, benefit from external counseling, and experience eye-opening field trips throughout the greater Chicago area.
